Management Accountant

This rapidly growing, PE backed business are looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team. The role will focus on the preparation of the monthly management accounts of a number of recently acquired businesses and transforming this reporting over a 6 month period to produce monthly consolidated accounts and board reporting for the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate production and detailed understanding of the monthly management accounts and forecasts across the businesses highlighting the financial impact of key risks and opportunities
  • Produce and interpret a detailed monthly board reporting pack and present the financial position to the Finance Director
  • Implement consolidated monthly reporting and board pack, over a 6 month period
  • Identify and address issues which affect business performance
  • Good understanding of balance sheet control
  • Actively involved in improving reporting and processes across Finance
  • Work closely with the senior management team as required


  • Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • A real team player with a positive 'can do' attitude
  • Possess high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced technical skills including Microsoft Excel
