Management Accountant

Investigo have partnered with an exciting not for profit organisation based in Aylesbury to recruit a new Management Accountant to produce the monthly management accounts for one arm of the company. They are looking for an experienced and personable candidate and the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Producing monthly management accounts for approval by the finance manager
• Financial Reporting - supporting the finance manager with cash flow forecasting, capital expenditure allocation, and reporting on monthly variances and ad-hoc items
• Help prepare and monitor budgets for parts of the business for the financial year
• Support the finance manager in preparation of statutory year end accounts and notes to accounts as required
• Liaise with the Auditors as required
• Business partner with members of the finance team, heads of departments and key stakeholders
• Encourage the continued occupational development of staff members in the finance team, and collaborative working to ensure accountability is taken on tasks
• Involvement in weekly finance meetings, updates and reviews
• Line management responsibility for the Purchase Ledger Clerk, including holding regular 1:1s with the individual and annual performance reviews, including training and developing them
• Ad-hoc tasks as required
