We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join a Global Retail Company based in London. This is an incredible opportunity for someone driven, enthusiastic and commercially minded to pursue a career in commercial finance. You will ideally have come from a solid Retail background. We are looking for candidates who are Part Qualified or newly qualified, with an excellent business acumen.

The role will include:

Responsibility for month-end sits within the team and areas of focus include Sales, Cost of Sales, Labour, Fixed Costs & Capex and Overheads. This role will be responsible for a particular area of month end, with the potential for movement across areas over time for development
Ownership of designated balance sheet reconciliations
Involvement in year-end processes and external audit
Ownership of forecasting process for designated area/specialty
Business partnering non-financial stakeholders where applicable
Add-hoc analysis for various end users

Candidate Specification:

Part or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Previous experience in month and year end reporting.
Great at interpreting data and financial information, with the ability to present to non-financial stakeholders
Experience working in a multi-site industry beneficial
Experience in budgeting and/or business partnering preferred
Strong systems knowledge
Desire to learn
Rigorous attention to detail
Self-starter and able to work independently
Keen problem solver
Team player willing to roll your sleeves up and get things done
