Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and margin reporting
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide financial insights to support business decision-making
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes
  • Support inventory valuation and stock control procedures
  • Collaborate with operational teams on cost improvement initiatives
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within manufacturing
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Knowledge of cost accounting principles and standard costing
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
