Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

The Role

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and margin reporting
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Support inventory valuation and stock control procedures
- Collaborate with operational teams on cost improvement initiatives
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Commercial awareness and business acumen
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles and standard costing
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
