Management Accountant - 9 month FTC

Looking for an immediately available candidate

My client are a large FTSE FMCG company based in Luton.

Location: Welwyn
Salary - £36,000
Initially a 9 month contract - can go perm

Job Description:

• Working closely with the FD on the running of the Finance Department
• Preparing reports and financial statements
• Working on company budgets, quarterly and annually
• Responsible for internal audits
• Liaising with external Auditors and other stakeholders
• Implementing and developing financial systems and policies
• Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
• Creating business strategies to generate shareholder value
• Presenting of monthly figures to the CFO
• Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Build partnerships with colleagues within the team to ensure a collaborative approach and effective delivery of projects

Skills and Personal Attributes:

• Part Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) and proven experience
• Organised, hard working and great initiative
• A great team player with excellent communication skills
• Strong IT skills and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
