Salary: £50,000 per annum + fantastic benefits

Location: Fully remote or office based 2/3 days from home the rest in office London(Bank station)

Job Description:

  • Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts, including P&Ls, balance sheet and cash flows and supporting analyses to required deadlines
  • Assisting in the month-end and year-end close process in order to ensure timely production of management accounts.
  • Assisting in production of headcount and other KPI reports looking for variances to budget and investigating any issues
  • Assisting in production of daily and weekly performance information
  • Assisting in the management and control of the nominal ledger accounts;
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany, accounts payable and PAYE
  • Liaising with the Accounts Payable team with respect to expenses, invoice postings and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation and maintenance of accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting in the maintenance of the fixed asset register
  • Review of monthly overhead expenditure reports and variance analysis looking for variances and following up with business support owners to investigate any issues and understand consequences on overheads budgets
  • Supporting other members of the reporting and analysis team
  • Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget
  • Assisting with the annual audit process

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Ambitious, driven and hard working
  • Part Qual or Newly Qual (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong experience with management accounts
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to liaise confidentially with senior stakeholders
  • Proven legal industry experience would be desirable
