Management Accountant - PE real estate

The firm:

This private equity firm specialises in strategic real assets and is growing at an exciting rate. Having recently launched their brand new flagship London HQ, this team are looking for an ambitious Management Accountant to join their close knit team. This brand is by no means a start up, they are a reputed name with big ambitions, looking for their next team member to play a high impact role in their growth strategy.

The role:

• Primary responsibility for preparation of consolidated management accounts and production of monthly board reporting.
• Annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and variance analysis.
• FCA quarterly reporting, capital adequacy forecasting, ICARA financial scenario analysis and modelling.
• Cash management and cashflow forecasting for the operating group.
• Liaison with auditors and outsourced providers to manage annual statutory accounts process.
• Supervision of Assistant Accountant and oversight of accounts receivable and payable processes.
• Management of intercompany reconciliations, corporate to deal recharges and settlement process.
• Assistance in implementation of new accounting system and rebuild of control framework.
• Responsible for the continued development and maintenance of control environment.
• Ad-hoc analysis and project work.

Experience required:

• ACA qualified
• Proactive approach to work and drive to want to have an impact in the wider function / business
• Comfortable working with multiple deadlines and dealing with multiple stakeholders / departments
• Confident and somebody who considers them self a real team player
• Confident working with excel

• Salary up to £65k for candidates with up to 2 years PQE and industry experience
• 20% discretionary bonus
