Job description

Investigo are recruiting an Management Accountant to sit within Supply Chain for a client based in Milton Keynes.

In the position of Management Accountant Milton Keynes you will report to the Finance manager to ensure accurate and timely period end process and budgeting are carried out in line with company standards. Other key duties to include:

  • Provide accurate weekly and periodic reports in a timely manner, which will help the supply chain centre sites track and manage performance.
  • Support the period end close and monthly results processes, by continuously monitor and manage the sites' GLs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Managed the prepayments and accruals across all sites and functions.
  • Provide the support to sites regarding where best to post spend, in line with accounting policies.
  • Prepare Month end Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Assists in Preparation of profit & loss reports and presentations at monthly meetings.
  • Assist in production of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • To manage and maintain the Supplier Financial Tracker, for review by Head of Procurement and Head of SCC Finance.
  • Responsible for data gathering for environmental reporting.
  • To liaise with the SCC team to maintain good records to facilitate the management of IFRS 16 (leases).
  • Comply with all legal and Company policies and procedures regarding health and safety to ensure you work in a manner that keeps you and your colleagues safe.

The Profile

The successful candidate will either be Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Or Qualified by Experience

Previous experience within management accounts supporting month end duties

Strong excel skills with the ability to manipulate data and relay back to the business working with various internal stake holders

The Salary

£35,000 to £40,000 plus company bonus up to 20%, full study support and outstanding benefits package
