Company Overview

You will be joining a very well-established, prestigious and forward-thinking Law Firm as their Notary Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a close-knit team, you will be reporting into the Notary Public who will be there to support you from day one. Based in their Reading office 2-3 days a week, you will have the opportunity to work from home for the remaining few days of the week.

Role Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for maintaining/updating the electronic notarial register, preparing/drafting documents, correspondence and emails as requested, carrying out company searches, familiarising yourself with billing processes to ensure the team are paid in a timely manner, setting up new matters once instructed, dealing with notarial enquiries received via telephone or email, working with legalisation agents to arrange the delivery of documents and providing administrative support with business development initiatives.

Role Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organisation skills, fantastic telephone skills, a supportive and can-do attitude, outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to use your initiative and common sense. You will be coming from a Notary, Legal Secretary or PA background and be a professional, articulate and confident individual with a mature attitude. You will be willing to travel to other offices in and around London on an ad-hoc basis and be a collaborative team player who can work well in a team and also independently. You will be a proactive, enthusiastic, self-motivated, dedicated and committed individual with a willingness to learn and excellent attention to detail.

In Return

You will receive an annual salary of up to £30,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate. You will be joining a prestigious organisation that will be continuing to grow over the next few years and can therefore provide future progression opportunities. You will have the flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week and when you are working from their Reading office, you will be based in a modern building and you will be located in a great area close to multiple transport links.
