Job description

Investigo are recruiting an Operations Auditor for a multi site service business based in Milton Keynes.

In the position of Operations Auditor Milton Keynes you will play a key part of the overall Risk and Governance team, carrying out operational audits to assess company operations, processes, finances and compliance, and providing business support to improve and adhere to policies and procedures. Key duties to include:

  • Carry out a variety of audits from Terms of Reference writing, to audit planning, audit fieldwork and audit report writing
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes, based on audit outcomes, to minimise risk
  • Prepare and present quality reports of audit findings and recommendations to managers and leaders
  • Identify key risk and control indicators across the business and ensure the Risk Framework is applied by the business
  • Maintain documentation for risk assessment and management processes
  • Evaluate and revise internal controls and operational policies and procedures as required
  • Ensure past audit recommendations are implemented by the business
  • Assist in development of the annual audit plan
  • Actively own the Risk Reporting process, including Risk Event version control, adhering to deadlines, and reporting to relevant risk owners
  • Assist with the annual external audit by providing information and explanations to the Auditors
  • Positively respond to both internal and external customers through effective communication and personal accessibility
  • Understand procedures and processes and operate them to the required standard encouraging best practice
  • Engage with operations team to ensure collaborative working throughout the company

The Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have previous compliance/ audit or risk experience (at least 6 months)

Ability to work under own initiative and collectively as part of a team

Ability to communicate within both internal/ external stake holders

Be comfortable will travelling across sites across UK circa 5-7 days per month (fully expensed)

The Salary

£30,000 to £33,000 Basic, Company bonus circa 12%, Care lease scheme, pension, share save scheme, 25 days holiday with option to buy an extra 5 days plus wider benefits
