A subsidiary of an exciting FTSE 100 group is seeking an experienced finance professional to join the team. You will join a small finance team that manages a group of SMEs with a global footprint (USA, China, EU and UK). The industry sits in an exciting niche that combines product development with manufacture and global distribution. You will be responsible for the day to day accounting within the UK entity but expect the role to develop in a group that is always growing and expanding to keep pace with an exciting market-place.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ownership of various areas of the finances and associated control environment.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Responsibility for UK VAT and co-ordination of overseas VAT returns.
  • Business Partnering across all levels of the organisation to best serve the needs of internal stakeholders and to enhance our reporting and analysis capability;
  • Key liaison for finance with our R&D, Sales and Operations teams and to work closely with these teams to improve internal processes and the reporting thereof.
  • Responsibility for intercompany reporting and cross-charges.
  • Responsible for ensuring we are a good corporate citizen, ensuring compliance with our FTSE100 parent's policies and reporting requirements;
  • Assisting with the annual external audit;
  • Deputising for and supporting the other members of the Team as required.
