My client, a leading fashion and interiors company in London is recruiting for an astute, highly organised and efficient part-time Accounts Assistant. The business is growing, therefore you will be working alongside and providing support to the Management Accountant within the company finance function. Its a small business so it's essential you have a can-do attitude and be willing to dive into and own your role. The role is a flexible 32-hours per week and will be a combination of in the office and remote.

Key responsibilities:

Ensure all bookkeeping is processed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
Be the main point of contact for all staff, client and supplier queries.
Ensure all cash is collected in full and on time.
All AP and AR (expense & invoice processing, payment runs, petty cash, credit control, Ecom sales) across three sister companies -- two based in the UK and one in Ireland.
Manage all records and receipts for all transactions.
Ensure all production software syncs with Xero.
Monitor all bank deposits and payments.
Bank reconciliation for three accounts and 10 credit cards.
Ad hoc functions as necessary.
Report to the Management Accountant, who reports to the COO.

Candidate specification:

High attention to detail, organised and methodical.
Familiarity with Xero and cloud-based efficiency and storage solutions.
Self-starter, independent, dependable, efficient.
Previous experience in the same or similar type of role is essential
