Job description

Company Overview

You will be joining a very well-established, well-known and rapidly growing Recruitment firm as their Payroll Admin on an initial 4 month fixed term contract. Part of a sizeable finance team that is split across Payroll, Credit Control and Finance Operations, you will have the support of highly experienced colleagues who will be there to assist with your transition into the business. Based in their modern City of London office 1 day a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining 4 days.

Role Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for processing timesheets and adjustments, checking and exporting placements on the internal system, preparing and sending Payroll reports to umbrella companies and dealing with email queries from candidates, consultants and clients.

Role Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be an enthusiastic, proactive, reliable, dedicated and committed individual with meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills and an outstanding work ethic. Candidates with no experience in Payroll/Finance will be considered for this role as full training will be provided, but any experience (6 months - 1 year) in a relevant position would be beneficial. You will need to be confident with the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and possess the ability to pick up new systems in a quick and efficient manner.

In Return

You will receive an annual salary of up to £27,000 (pro rata to the initial 4 month FTC) + Bonus + Benefits. There is a strong possibility the contract will be extended, or the role made permanent, if you perform well in your first few months. This is a rapidly growing organisation that has a global reach so there are endless opportunities for those who demonstrate a hard-working attitude and a positive approach to all tasks. You will be part of a high-performing and dedicated team who are super collaborative and supportive. You will only be required to attend the office 1 day a week, in line with the firms hybrid working model, promoting a fair work-life balance.
