I am recruiting for an experienced Payroll Manager to join an insurance organisation in Cheshire on a temporary basis. You will have had previous experience managing payroll teams within SME's. Experience in managing a payroll system implementation and SuccessFactors experience is a distinct advantage.

  • Responsible for ensuring that an effective and efficient customer focused service is delivered by the Payroll team
  • Responsible for the maintenance of controls to ensure monetary payments, bank transfers and invoices transactions relating to the provision of pay are accurate and comply with contractual obligations
  • Ensures that all payroll-related data is maintained in a secure and accurate environment
  • Acquires and maintains a full and current understanding of all the company's pay-related policies, payroll processes, procedures and associated legislation
  • Provides professional advice and information to both employees and people leaders in the areas of pay, expenses and pensions
  • Manages and develop the Payroll systems, procedures and processes for optimum effectiveness and efficiency
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors would be preferable, but not critical
