Job description
Investigo are delighted to be exclusively supporting a Northampton based FTSE listed business with their recruitment of a Payroll Manager, on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Head of Payroll, the Payroll Manager will be responsible for the following duties:
- Working alongside another Payroll Manager, managing a combined team of 28
- Liaising closely with Operations, HR, Vetting and the Central Payroll team
- Overseeing and managing a payroll volume for 45,000 employees
- Be the payroll expert and resolve all payroll related queries in line with company procedures and legal requirement
- Dealing with queries and escalations from all levels of employees
- Payroll reconciliations
- Managing the update of policies and procedures and ensuring Standard Payroll Operating Procedures are appropriate and sufficient
- Completing Audit and Best Practice tasks
- Collaborate actively with other members of the wider Payroll team to ensure a cohesive approach for all Payroll and HR activity
To be successful in this role, you must have previous payroll management experience, a keen and analytical mind, and a genuine enthusiasm for the role. A CIPP qualification is required for advancement in the application. A strong team attitude and leadership qualities are essential.
Our Client is offering a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits.
