Job description

Investigo are partnering with a global brand looking to appoint a Payroll Supervisor for a client based in Milton Keynes.

In the position of Payroll Supervisor Milton Keynes you will proactively manage a small and busy Payroll team in the delivery of an outstanding in-house payroll service for our business of approximately 1,600 employees. You will become a subject matter expert for our Payroll/HR system, working closely with our internal stakeholders to ensure we are effectively working with the system leading to an accurate monthly payroll.Other key duties to include:

    • Leading and supporting the payroll team through the performance of all payroll and system related tasks to ensure continuing of service and adherence to policy, legislation and compliance requirements
    • To be the lead for the Payroll aspects of the HR system (Dayforce) optimising the system and our processes wherever possible
    • To ensure our payroll procedures are clearly mapped in a payroll manual
    • Review and improve all payroll procedures/policies to ensure full compliance and to minimise risk
    • Work with the wider HR team to produce meaningful and relevant payroll data to support decision making
    • Stay up to date with any legislative changes that may impact compensation and benefits activity

The Profile

Ability to demonstrate experience working of in house payroll from start to finish at either supervisory or team leader level

Ability to coach, develop and mentor a small team driving productivity adhering to tight month end deadlines

Strong communication skills as you with liaise with both internal and external stake holders

Ideally previous Dayforce payroll systems experience of similar cloud based system

The Salary

£40,000 to £45,000 plus annual company bonus circa 10% along with company car scheme and Hybrid working
