Portfolio Finance Manager

Financial Reporting Manager | Central London or Reading | £50-65k

Exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual looking for a Financial Reporting Manager role in a growing organisation with a supportive culture, work-life balance and opportunity for progression.

My client is a growing accounting and business advisory firm who is looking to expand their finance function by adding a Financial Reporting Manager to the team. This is a fantastic role for a qualified accountant who previously worked in an accounting practice.

This role will be based across my client's Central London and Reading offices with flexibility to work from home.

The Role

Reporting into the Director of Portfolio Accounting, this role is responsible for:

• Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts for individual entities and consolidated accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IRFS.
• Consolidation accounting and reporting including intercompany transactions, foreign currency translation and consolidation adjustments.
• Ensuring all month end, quarter end and year end reporting is completed to a high standard.
• Working closely with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal processes and controls.
• You will regularly interact with clients and senior management, meaning that stakeholder management skills and an affable personality are a must.
• This role requires a strong performer and somebody with the ambition and intellect to apply their own insights were possible and suggest improvements to existing processes.

Your Background

You are a qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualified experience. Ideally, you will be making your first move from a top-tier or mid-tier accounting firm.

Location

Work across two offices based in Central London and Reading with hybrid working from home. Both offices are based near public transport links, with the Reading office having access to onsite parking.
