2 days per week in Hertfordshire, 3 days remote

Investigo are pleased to be supporting a global business with their search for a Portfolio Manager. The individual will be supporting a sizable team currently engaged in several Finance based projects on the wider business transformation agenda.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of projects and programmes within Finance Change, where you will work with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the projects follow the correct governance and are implemented on time and on budget.

Scope of work:

• Setting up the Project/programme for success and supporting Project Managers with a robust Business Case
• Forecasting and managing my budgets effectively, always being cost conscious
• Identifying and managing project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate
• Tracking benefits, reporting on milestones, managing change logs, using and logging lessons learned, managing cross programme interdependencies, risks and escalating issues to get clear direction and decision from stakeholders
• Continually keep abreast of the project status, its Finances and approvals, using the agreed methodology
• Ensure projects follow the correct governance process, remain on budget, and report accurately when required
• Tracking project benefits after go-live against the original business case and critical success factors
