Our leading payments client are looking for a Product Planning manager to work closely alongside the product strategy & development team as they build out a new area of innovation and development within the company.
This role will be the second hire into a new sitting within the businesses wider Product unit. This function & role will be working closely with key stakeholders across all areas of the business to assist with the financial planning, modelling & management involved with product launches.
This role will suit a dedicated Planning Manager with experience of projects (project management experience accepted) exposure as well product development experience. This manager will need to come from a strong finance background (accountancy qual not required) & be able to model key product financials from strategy through to launch.
The role is likely to involve:
- Financial planning / modelling
- Data analysis
- P&L review
- Governance reporting
- Product strategy
- Stakeholder management
- Presenting key product updates through PowerPoints & workshops
The candidate should have the following experience:
- Programme planning
- Product development
- Financial services (payments ideal)
- Financial modelling
- P&L review & management
- Budget management
