Programme Director

A fantastic new Programme Director opportunity to join a multi award winning, fast growth scale-up Technology business based in the Midlands who have been experiencing significant YOY growth over the past 3 years. This is not a start-up business but a true scale up, they are a well-established business who have the funding to accelerate the growth of the business. This financial support has seen the business grow turnover by over 40% in the past 12 months, see employee headcount rise to over 300 people, launch disruptive software products and grow internationally through strategic acquisitions. This organisation has a client base ranging from small start-up businesses to some of the largest businesses in the UK. Key to success in this role and for the business is the successful migration of their larger clients off large monolithic systems for managing customer interactions to the adoption and implementation of the organisations SaaS platform. Therefore, data migration experience in a SaaS environment leading complex and concurrent migrations is a critical prerequisite for this role.

You will lead a team of Implementation, Migration and Transformation specialists who are ultimately responsible for running the Delivery for the end customer ensuring that vast amounts of highly sensitive and critical customer data points (which run into the millions on the larger projects) are migrated safely and effectively into the SaaS platform. This is a true people leadership role and strategic in nature, you will have a strong management team who will run the day to day freeing you up to work with your peers across the executive leadership team on continuing to build out the future operating model for the business of which your function will sit right at the very heart.

You and your function will be responsible for building out the Delivery framework that the business can rely upon and on which all future growth and success will depend. This Delivery framework will be rolled out internationally but will still have the flexibility to bend to local market needs, therefore experience of operating internationally or across multiple markets would be advantageous to this role. This is a business in scale-up mode and the Delivery function is still developing, therefore you will be someone who is excited about building something, you will be responsible for building the team, the ways of working and transforming the current state into an industry leading Delivery proposition.

You will come from a background working for a Technology business who deliver and embed Software products, you will have led multiple projects involving the delivery and implementation of a software product into an end customer and critically have experience with the migration of large amount of sensitive data from large monolithic systems to SaaS platforms.
