Project Controls Manager

My FTSE 100 global British Multinational client is currently looking for a Project Controls Manager to lead, review and enable the efficient delivery of the Project Control lifecycle in all major elements of its Construction & Refurbishment programmes.

Given the influx of projects, there is a need for more control & rigour around how this vast business delivers it's projects, ensuring immediate and long term impact on successful outcomes. There will be an opportunity to role out your work across other areas of the business.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the Programme in relation to the effective execution of the Project Control Lifecycle
• Manage the integration of the control services within the programme
• Challenge all aspect of project / programme performance to determine causes of variance from plan
• Provide functional governance and efficient value adding services
• Lead the management of the change control process for the programme
• Drive through the requirements of the Project Director and Client within the programme

Desirable experience:

• Relevant experience in the successful management, planning and delivery of major projects.
• Excellent communication skills with a significant background of team leadership
• Planning experience software such as Primavera P6, Asta PowerProject, MSP
• Experience developing and producing relevant programme specific reports
• Comprehensive understanding of programme and project controls processes and systems
• Knowledge and experience of contracts including JCT and NEC
