Project Manager // Records Management // Data Compliance // Insurance

CONTRACT / REMOTE / £600 (inside IR35)

A Global Insurance client has a requirement for a Project Manager to join their change team on a remote basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end records management projects, emphasising file remediation, data storage, and compliance adherence.
  • Develop and implement efficient strategies for organising, classifying, and maintaining records, ensuring optimal data integrity and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and timelines, aligning with organisational goals and compliance standards.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing data systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance records management efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and technology partners to leverage cutting-edge solutions for secure data storage and retrieval.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, providing guidance on data protection, privacy, and retention policies.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns to ensure project success.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for team members and end-users to promote best practices in records management and compliance.
  • Proactively identify risks and challenges, implementing mitigation strategies to prevent potential roadblocks and delays.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of records management initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on records management, file remediation, data storage, and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to records management and data compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data systems and propose effective solutions for optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
