Project Manager/Implementation Lead

A NHS Trust are seeking a Project Manager/ Implementation Lead on an initial 6 month contract to start ASAP.
The role will be to assess the opportunity to move elective IP and day case activity to a new site to maximise the capacity in theatres, Daisy Ward and Birch- identifying specialties, procedures that could move by Mid December 2021. To develop and lead on a implementation plan to move the activity to the site ensuring clinical engagement is sought throughout planning and implementation and all aspects of the move addressed including:

• Workforce
• Theatre Capacity
• Bed Capacity
• Patient Pathways
• Operational aspects ie: theatre sets, SSD are addressed
• Booking processes
• Patient Communication

Role: 8b/c Project Manager and Implementation lead
Experience/skills:

• Operational management in elective areas
• Knowledge of theatres, elective patient pathways, RTT
• Project Management
• Experience of delivering large change projects with clinical engagement and good outcomes

The post will need to work across sites.
