Investigo are exclusively recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk (Part Time 30 hours week) for an SME client based in Bedford.

In the position of Purchase Ledger Clerk Bedford you will report to the Accounts Payable Controller responsible for the day to day input of supplier invoices and general maintenance of the purchase ledger. Key duties to include:

  • Accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices including allocation to related purchase orders, P&L and Balance Sheet codes
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Recording and resolving supplier related queries
  • Supporting with BACS runs and month end reports
  • Deputise for the Purchase Ledger Controller as required
  • General upkeep and maintenance of the purchase ledger
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as and when required

The Profile

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of invoice processing/ accounts payable

Must be able to display high levels of numeracy and literacy ability

Enthusiastic and flexible team player

Able to work under pressure, on own initiative and constantly seek to improve

The Salary

£19,000 to £21,000 (element of hybrid working)
