QA Test Engineer

Location and working environment: Sheffield - Remote

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000

Investigo is partnered with a leading health-care and well-being organisation utilising best-in-practice technology with their head office located in Sheffield. They are looking for a QA engineer to join their growing in-house test team. This role would see you working closely with all development teams and having a real say in the future of these industry-leading technology products that the organisation offers. They are looking for someone who is ultimately driven to better all software and be able to contribute to continuous improvements, to be fully engaged and invested in the organisation and their future technology-driven plans. You will be joining a newly formed testing team which at the moment consists of one other tester. This opportunity gives you a brilliant opportunity to develop your experience working on the latest and greatest technology.

This role will be working as a QA tester on industry-leading technology. You will be involved in the full testing cycle. You will be involved in developing both test scripts and user stories. Having full ownership as well as continuous communication with developers to get the best out of everyone. You will be involved in making sure that the business is using industry-accepted best practices for the business.

To be considered for this QA Engineer role:

  • Ability to design, execute and maintain test script
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • 3+ years of commercial testing experience
  • Agile test tools (e.g. SpecFlow, Fitness, Cucumber, Dbfit)
  • Extensive Automation testing tools (HP QTP, Selenium, SoapUI)
  • Test Management Tools (Target Process, HP Quality Centre, Microsoft Team foundation server)
  • Knowledge of Database systems

This is a permanent position with a salary range of £35,000 - £50,000 and benefits of:
