Job description

My client, an industry leader in the central surrey are currently recruiting for an regional process controls consultant on a permanent basis.

Car park on site & near a train station!

Hours: 37 hours a week - Hybrid working

Salary: £70-80,000 per annum

Key job duties:

  • Ensuring the Matrix template adheres to relevant regulatory requirements such as Key Financial Control Framework and the UK Corporate Governance Code.
  • Lead and drive implementation of processes and solutions to improve controls and compliance for the core template.
  • Maintain controls documentation such as Risk and Controls Matrices.
  • Assisting internal and external auditors in conducting audits by providing documentation, evidence of controls effectiveness, and facilitating audit testing procedures.
  • Drives controls related Key Performance Indicators across the Matrix scope and influences senior leaders to drive relevant business actions.
  • Engage with relevant in-country Directors, Country Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts, on best practices for maintaining internal controls, evidence, audit trails and complying with regulatory requirements within the Matrix scope.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and with System Integrator partners to ensure on time delivery and quality of overall programme deliverables.

Ideal candidate will be

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Background or experience in Internal Controls, Control Frameworks, and/or Risk Management is essential.
  • 2+ years of experience working across multiple countries and sectors (an advantage but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in using SAP ERP systems and related software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, evaluate controls, and propose practical solutions.
  • Effective stakeholder management across all levels.
  • Proven track record of delivering business results in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of business issues that span short and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Proficiency in English language (Bilingualism is an advantage)
