Location: Fully Remote (With 1 day a month in Northampton)

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (+£4,300 Oncall Allowance) and 10% Annual Bonus

Job Description

An internationally recognised Green Technology FTSE 250 business in Northampton are looking to bring on a remote Database Administrator/DBA into their ever growing team. This will be an integral role as a Database Administrator/DBA, we're looking for someone who can challenge the norm and bring ideas to the table to get the very best performance out of their data and databases - this is an area that is receiving heavy investment and in turn working with a modern technology stack build around SQL and Azure. You'll get to play a key hands-on, technical role in the evolution and continuing modernisation of several platforms, applications, and business/customer critical systems, this will involve everything from best practice, maintenance of existing DBs upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, monitoring critical events, capacity planning, and future documentation to ensure they are utilising DBs in the very best way. This is a business who is passionate about high quality software development - you'll also have the opportunity to try new ways of working, tech and develop your own personal career through various professional training and development plans.

You will be involved with this partner as a key hands on remote Database Administrator/DBA where you will be working on the modernisation of several platforms, applications, and business/customer critical systems, this will involve everything from minor enhancements to full-scale application rebuilds to better leverage the tech for customers and make what they do even more accessible to customers. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of market leading software. • SQL
• Experience as a DBA
• SSIS
• SSRS
