Overview

Client is embarking on a solution implementation for one of its business which has been recently acquired and a project to bring the business on the company system landscape is underway.

Role

You will work closely with regional business, perform fit gap, via a series of meetings, workshops and stakeholder interviews. You'll play back the requirements and prepare functional design using your deep functional knowledge and understanding of configuration and various features within SAP APO Module

Ability to use draw on your knowledge to fully understand requirements and effectively communicate this to the rest of the team.

You will be key player in performing detailed design, build and test of the solution supporting through the go live and performing the user training as needed.

Essential Experience:

• 10+ years of SAP Consulting experience with SAP APO Module.
• The SAP APO BA needs to work with key business users to gather business requirements; designs and develops solutions; creates blueprints, functional specs and performs Unit/integration testing.
• Supports business processes within the Demand and Supply Planning Stream.
• Is knowledgeable in SAP APO & IBP solution capabilities and business process configurations.
• Configuration of master data and be able to guide and train the users on Business Process.
• Possesses significant, proven customizing experience within SAP APO & IBP.
• Has thorough knowledge of business processes within SAP APO & IBP
• Responsible for SAP support including analysis/requirements and project scope documents, business process design and configuration.
• Defines and implements work procedures, standards, and methods.
• Works towards developing best practices around the integration and deployment of SAP applications within existing architectures in a multi-site environment.
• Develops training scripts and business process procedures. Works directly with users in training.
• Understands advanced, integrated business processes; identifies and recognizes global integration consequences.

Key Technical Skill:

• Extensive hands experience in the end to end supply chain and manufacturing process; including (but not limited to) Demand Planning (DP), Supply network Planning (SNP), Production Planning and Detail Scheduling (PPDS), Global Available to Promise (GATP).
• Desired Configuration Knowledge in IBP Demand
• Should understand CIF interface tool and integration with other modules such as PP, SD, MM.
• Strong experience with the Optimizer, CTM and GATP.
• Experience in creating and changing Planning Areas, Planning Books and Data Views
• Experience in creating Macros and developing them to completion.
• Experience in creating Time profiles, Time periods, Planning Areas, Planning levels, Key figures & Calculations
• Good understanding of SAP problem solving approach (logs, dumps etc.) and OSS usage
