SAP R2R / Record to Report


Purpose of the position


The role of the IT Lead Record to Report is to enable the business transformation and to maximize the value from the S/4HANA program for our business. The IT Lead Record to Report (R2R) reports to the IT Program Lead.
This person will be responsible for leading the R2R workstream for the IT as face-off of the R2R GBPO at global level for the company. They will be fully dedicated to the global transformation program, with a strong focus on business value realization, business process excellence and core SAP Finance product valuation.
This person will be dedicated to Record to Report workstream, but they will also ensure a robust consistency with other Global Business Processes (Concept to Product, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Forecast to Produce).

  • Enable Record to Report transformation
  • IT Primary point of contact for the GBPOs / key business stakeholders for R2R Global Process.
  • IT Lead of the R2R workstream for the global program: GL accounting, Fixed assets, Bank, Controlling, Financial reporting, and Finance Planning and Analytics, Inventory accounting, Financial & internal control, Tax reporting.
  • Make sure the designed and implemented end-to-end R2R processes enable to build a core-model solution focused on industry best practices and keeping SAP S/4HANA solution the most standard: maximize the value of SAP S/4HANA solution, contribute to Fit Gap analysis to assess the value/ROI of any deviation from SAP standard.
  • Maximize the value of our IT Record to Report landscape
  • Develop a global vision of the IT Finance landscape to optimize our portfolio of IT Finance solutions based on a core SAP S/4HANA
  • Leverage our IT Finance solutions to support end-to-end global processes: master SAP S/4HANA but also the integration of other key IT Finance components like SAP Analytics Cloud, Finance Consolidation, Concur, Diapason
  • Ensure that the solutions are customized and delivered according to SAP best practices
  • Design and Build the S/4HANA core solution for its workstream to maximize business value: leverage product features, propose innovations, enable business value realization
  • Transform our Finance data model and optimize our Finance IT landscape to take the full value of the SAP S/4HANA program
  • Project and IT Partners Management
  • Contribute to all program steps from preparation to post go-live delivery, with a contribution to solution design: review and validate specifications both for solution customizing and for RICEFW including complex reports as well as interfaces
  • Make sure our services are delivered according to our IT standards (architecture, integration, security), and Service Levels Agreements (time, quality, procedures, manuals and documentation are properly updated and compliant)
  • Master the SAP S/4HANA Finance product
  • Develop SAP S/4HANA solution expertise for its own role,
  • Build and share the product knowledge to develop the expertise within the IT Organization
  • Work with other IT experts to facilitate the end-to-end solution integration: other IT Business domain, Data, Integration, Security…
  • Ensures a technical watch and follow the product roadmap to ensure that innovative features are adopted to drive business value for Record to Report: RPA, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning…




Experience / Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:
Education
  • Finance or IT master's degree from an accredited institution in business

Languages
  • French fluent mandatory
  • English fluent mandatory - Daily working language

Experience
  • Minimum 10 years' experience as SAP IT Finance project manager either in a consulting position or in an IT department,
  • Strong knowledge of finance processes and organization
  • Strong business acumen, decision making, and influence skills across all levels of an organization
  • Working knowledge and skills in biopharmaceutical and process engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams and managing external partners
  • Experience in working in international environment / global organization
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into business terms
  • Technology depth and credibility with technical staff
  • SAP experience is mandatory for the position
  • Planning & Analytics, Dashboarding knowledge are mandatory for the position
