Essential skills and experience
You must be able to demonstrate a strong track record as an experienced Microsoft Exchange Engineer.

Tech skills:

• Installation and configuration of Exchange Server 2019
• Previous experience of Exchange Upgrades
• Engineer solutions centred in the Messaging and mail gateway space
• PowerShell skills
• Good understanding of High Availability solutions
• Experience of Exchange DAG environments
• Demonstrable knowledge of Active Directory, including management and maintenance of users and security groups
• Deploying routine security patches for Windows OS and Exchange SUs and CUs
• Understanding of TLS certificates for end point encryption.
• Capacity management for databases and virtualised storage.
• Experience in Incident, Change & Problem management.
• Documentation management; Contributing, creating and developing Mail Team Standards and Policies, Low Level Designs and High Level Designs.
• Monitoring Mail production environments

Desirable skills and experience

• Knowledge of cross domain technologies such as mail gateways
• Understanding of Agile Methodologies and principles
• Experience of Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• Enterprise monitoring tools
• Knowledge of Identity Management ADFS
• Working knowledge of Certificate Lifecycle Management
