A major government organisation is seeking a Scrum Master to join them on an initial 5 month contract.

Requirements:

• Jira experience
• Freedom of Information experience
• Case-based reasoning
• Regulatory experience ideal

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments that block the development team's progress and help resolve conflicts or dependencies.
• Coach the team and the organization on Agile principles and Scrum best practices to enhance delivery and adaptability.
• Protect the team from external distractions or scope changes during a sprint to maintain focus on committed goals.
• Track and report key performance metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, and impediment logs to support transparency and process optimisation.
