My client is a global, full service medical communications agency dedicated to the needs of their healthcare clients. They deliver scientifically accurate, visually engaging, and commercially savvy communications designed for traditional and new media channels. My client's capabilities span the spectrum of medical communications services such as: strategic planning, clinical/medical affairs support, publication planning, KOL management, scientific and editorial services, scientific visualization and MOA, marketing communications, internal training, scientific events, exhibits, and new media.

The ongoing success of the business has led to continued expansion both in the range of services they offer and their market presence. They have reached a point where they are now looking to add a talented and enthusiastic Senior Account Manager to join their team.

As Senior Account Manager you will be tasked with supervising a range of communications projects. The role would suit a candidate who is proficient in multi-tasking and is eager to develop the business further. You will be required to utilize your already established project management / leadership skills and scientific expertise to deliver a range of scientific services to clients, including scientific and strategic consultation for new and existing drug therapies, satellite symposia, international conferences and medical education projects in both web and multimedia formats. Additionally, as the primary client liaison point, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent relations with clients. research information from a variety of sources to provide expertise in therapy area(s) and product(s)

For consideration, you must have:

· BSc in life sciences, ideally combined with a PhD or MSc

· Extensive experience in a medical communications agency

· Proven track record of exceptional staff, project, and client management

· Strong therapy area experience

· Experienced in developing strategic communication plans and programs

· Good financial understanding and experience with budgeting

· A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal

communication skills
