Senior Accountant

The role of Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Group Finance Manager, Head of Finance and Key International stakeholders. Working within Group Finance, this newly created role is responsible for the provision of accounting support to Group Finance, Tax, Treasury, Regional Finance and the wider business.

This is excellent chance for a forward thinking proactive individual to make a real impact on the future direction of the company. The role will also involve a large element of process improvement and stakeholder engagement and requires an individual with a strong accounting/ audit background gained in practice and previous exposure to a fast paced international business.

The role will include but not be restricted to the following:-

• Preparation of the consolidated financial statements, involving co-ordination, preparation, input and review of group adjustments
• Maintain accurate records to support consolidation adjustments
• Ensure all monthly deliverables are received from subsidiaries and key point of contact for site finance teams
• Co-ordination of the preparation of the Annual and Interim Group Accounts
• Ad-hoc project work across process improverment and systems
• Preparation of the Group Annual Report including the Directors' Report and Directors' Remuneration Report and preparation of certain Head Office subsidiary accounts
• Calculation / review of certain notes to the financial statements
• Provide FP&A team with data required for Budget and Forecasting purposes

The business are seeking an ACA/ ACCA qualified accountant (or equiv) with post qualified experience who and has a core finance or audit background including up to date IFRS. You will be a positive person with a proven track record of delivering improvements to core accounting, internal processes and external relationships.
