Our leading banking client are undertaking a large regulatory reporting programme within their wider regulatory portfolio. They're looking to create & implement a new centralised data storage model for the business.

With the strategy behind this complete & the need imminent the business now need a Lead Business / Data Analyst to take the lead on creating this centralised Data Storage. The role will involve technical data work as well & strategic business analysis.

They need the Analyst to come from the following background:

• Banking
• Regulatory reporting programmes within banking
• Complex data storage programmes
• Data warehousing solution programmes

The role will involve:

• Understand the solution being proposed around the centralised data storage & gathering the requirements
• Modelling the data to fit the solution
• Regulatory reporting - both business and technical
• Data warehousing
• Master data management
• Working with both technical data experts as well as business change professionals

This all with a view to leading the creation of the centralised data storage point.

This role is a 6 month initial contract & offers a unique insight into one of the most exciting high street banking clients within the sector. It will expose the individual to high level sponsors within the organisation & will have them working across both technical & business facing professionals within the regulatory sporting portfolio. This is not a pure technical analysis role & will require someone who has introduced something similar to the above within a banking organisation previously.
