Job description
Investigo are currently working with a market leading Health business. This is an opportunity for a 3 month contract position for a Senior Finance Analyst.
- Responsible for performing the day-to-day general ledger accounting, reconciliations and analysis for a division
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger, providing accurate and complete analysis of the accounts
- Responsible for month-end and year-end close and for the preparation and analysis of the monthly financial reporting
- Prepare all Financial Reporting requirements
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Supports the month-end process and reporting cycles, producing relevant budgetary information
- Monitor compliance with corporate policies and procedures
- Monitor WIP posting and invoicing
- Monitor agency expenses - support cost accrual
- Translates financial information and analysis on cash flow, revenue, and profitability into actionable steps for client teams to drive better results
- Emerging ability to identify potential problems in existing environment and provide solutions before they manifest themselves in material financial results
- Supports the client finance team in selectively gathering relevant financial information to analyse financial results
- Knowledge of regulatory environment and industry to develop and evaluate agency financial processes and controls
- Works with internal and external auditors - gathering and providing necessary information

Skills/Attributes
- You'll have prior experience in a similar level position, operating at a finance analyst level
- We are ideally looking for experience of working within a marketing/advertising/creative agency or similar industry
- You will need to be ACA, CIMA or ACCA part qualified with recent exam success
- You should hold a degree-level qualification from an accredited college or university, ideally within finance or accounting
- You'll be personable, well-spoken, engaging and have the ability to develop internal relationships and present with a powerful, persuasive style
- You should be able to demonstrate grace when working under pressure or to tight deadlines
- You should have demonstrable experience of flexibility when working across multiple business units
- You should be able to travel within the EU and globally as required
