Senior Finance Analyst

I'm working with a Global retailer, currently recruiting a ambitious individual wanting to make their mark in the world of Commercial Finance.

This role will offer excellent exposure across the Commercial Finance team in a genuine value add role. You will play a key part in the expansion plans across Europe, in both store and E-commerce as the brand continues to grow. Responsible for over £80m of P&L expenditure and £10m of capital, you will also provide analytical support to the Store Operations team and business partner with other finance functions.

The role;

• Reporting to the Finance Manager to help partner the Stores Leadership team on the Stores P&L to support the delivery of business and financial goals
• Provide analytical support to the Store Operations team, ensure a high standard of financial controls and visibility of key metrics across non payroll lines, with the aim of making the best business decision
• Understand capital initiatives driven by Buying and Store Operations, work with the operations to evaluate financial impact and support the implementation plan
• Support the headcount strategy for Store Operations over the next three years and track against the agreed headcount investment
• Work collaboratively across the Retail Finance team to share learnings, work consistently and leverage all P&L lines

What we are looking for;

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Advanced analytical and numerical skills
• Experience of supporting a commercial operations team
• Ability to build and maintain relationships to deliver results
• Curious about the business and drivers of performance
• Can describe complex ideas simply and to non-finance teams
• Enjoys working in a team environment
