Senior ITIL Event Analyst (6-Month Initial Contract)
Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery performance? Join our client's dynamic team as a Senior ITIL Event Analyst at their Technology Performance and Availability Management (TPAM) unit.
Contract Details:

• Initial 6-month contract.
• Travel required to the Birmingham area as and when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist TPAM Lead in overseeing monitoring, event management, and performance processes.
• Utilize ITIL and ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB expertise.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for optimal actions.
• Contribute to a framework for event/triggers action and resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve ITOM issues, interpret ServiceNow logs, and monitor CMDB health.
• Lead or support review groups with relevant Service Delivery Managers.
• Support retrospective reviews of performance and availability issues.

Requirements:

• ServiceNow Event Management certification (highly desirable).
• 5+ years in IT Service Management with a focus on Event and Incident Management.
• Proficient in ServiceNow platform customization.
• Strong analytical skills for issue diagnosis.
• Experience in structured technical delivery environments.
