Investigo Finance are recruiting a Senior Payroll Administrator for a client based in Milton Keynes.

In the position of Senior Payroll Administrator Milton Keynes you will ensure all payroll is adhered in line with company standards and HMRC ,reporting into the Payroll Manager. Other key duties to include:

  • Coordination and management of the entire payroll function (start to finish)
  • Responsible for the preparation and processing multiple payrolls for circa 1,000 employees in total
  • Data Security and confidentiality
  • Processing weekly expenses
  • Checking and auditing payrolls ensuring legislative compliance
  • Applying new starters and leavers - inc part month calculations
  • Ensure compliance on all Right to Work documentation
  • Accurate processing of overtime, holidays, commissions, etc
  • Deal with all pay enquiries and adjustments
  • Calculation of statutory payments, such as SSP, SMP, SPP
  • Managing Real Time Information RTI
  • Managing pension schemes and contributions to providers
  • Preparations of monthly journals and reconciliations, inc Nominal Link
  • Payment of all BACS transactions and adhoc payments on time
  • Liaise with HR, site general managers, administrators and department heads
  • Accurate preparation of monthly and ad hoc reports

The Profile

The successful candidate will need to have previous end to end payroll experience

Ideally used ERP systems such as Sage Payroll or ADP

Experience of manual payroll calculation

Ability to adhere to tight month end deadlines

The Salary

£26,000 to £31,000 plus full benefits package
