TITLE:

Scientist II/Senior Scientist, Protein Biochemistry - permanent, full-time

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

This individual will join the AAV Engineering team to design and implement a pipeline for structural analysis of engineered capsids and their novel receptor binding properties through in vitro and in silico methods.

This person will take on responsibility for developing experimental procedures as well as growing a small team to execute them across several programs. This person will be 50% in the lab.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• PhD in a relevant, scientific field or MS with a minimum of 6 years of industry experience
• Strong scientific background in protein biochemistry and structural biology
• Hands-on experience with protein engineering and assay development
