Job description

Summary:

  • Consulting experience is essential.
  • Designing high-level and low-level secure architecture designs.
  • Experience leading security architecture projects - ideally in one of these areas or across multiple: IAM, network, infrastructure, security operations or cloud security.
  • Track record of leading cyber security strategy within organisations

Detail:

  • Defining the end-to-end security architecture and solution for a project or programme, creating Conceptual, Logical and Implementation of Architecture views to align to business needs.
  • Working to deliver leading edge solutions in identity management, network and infrastructure protection, cloud security, security monitoring, network segregation etc., to defend against some of the most advanced threats and capable threat actors.
  • Reviewing the current state of client's security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements
  • Interpreting complex business and technical issues to create a viable solution
  • Working on projects with high strategic impact, setting a strategy that can be used in the long term and across the breadth of the organisation
  • Designing secure system architectures through the application of patterns and principles, to meet user needs while managing business and security risks
  • Applying innovative security architecture solutions to problems and be able to justify and communicate design decisions
  • To rise to the challenges this Security Architect role brings, academic excellence should be backed by sound and broad information security knowledge, relevant qualifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, IISP/CCP, TOGAF, SABSA) and a track-record delivering security solutions for large-scale infrastructure or integration programmes.
