ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

This individual will execute bioanalytical and biomarker strategies and contribute to the expansion of the bioanalytical assay portfolio. The Bioanalytical Scientist will lead project specific activities to establish bioanalytical and quantitative biomarker assays. Other responsibilities include:

• Provide mentorship to other members of the team
• Oversee assay design, implementation, troubleshooting and sample analysis
• Oversee assay transfer, assay validation and ample analyses at CROs

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Either a relevant MS degree with a minimum 6 years of experience or a PhD with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience (industry experience would be ideal and preferred)
• Experienced enough in LC/MS and enzyme assays to be able to oversee development of assays
• Must have solid knowledge of regulatory expectations for bioanalytical and biomarker assays
• Experience in GLP validation and assays and sample analysis
