Senior Technical Architect

Investigo are excited to be exclusively partnered with a leading household supplier who are currently carrying out a huge technical in-sourcing programme and are committed to investing heavily to make sure this is done as seamlessly as possible. The organisation are continuously growing and expanding, so are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join the team.

Objectives

Design and implement high-quality technical solutions aligned with business objectives. Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentorship, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, scalability, and efficiency. Architect and oversee the development of complex systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and quality standards.

Experience

Extensive experience as a technical architect or in a similar role, designing and implementing complex systems. Strong technical expertise in multiple domains, such as application development, infrastructure, databases, or cloud platforms. Proficiency in architectural patterns, design principles, and software engineering best practices.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide technical decisions. Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate and address technical challenges.

Proven leadership skills to drive the future technology roadmap Involved with technical user groups and appropriate vendors on their future roadmaps. Strong negotiating skills.

Strong expertise in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and technology stacks. Systems architecture creation techniques, wide range of available technologies. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and knowledge of cloud-native architectures.
