Service Support Manager (IT Manager, IT Services Manager)


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Service Support Manager to join a Lincoln - based organisation with a social purpose. The Service Support Manager (IT Manager, IT Services Manager) will be responsible for leading and managing the IT Delivery Team (Service Support) of c. 5 people, providing professional advice and guidance to service areas on all aspects to IT Service Delivery.

It will be your responsibility for preparing and delivering the IT Strategy; ensuring that systems, data and infrastructure are available and current to meet the business needs and requirements; and for leading on the effective management, maintenance, upgrades, monitoring and support of IT systems and Infrastructure. This role combines strategy, people leadership, and a strong understanding of IT Service (based on ITIL Principles). You'll also be working with external, third parties, so will be able to engage with internal and external stakeholders.

The appointed candidate will have a detailed understanding of how to lead and manage an IT Service Delivery Team, based on ITIL principles, great stakeholder and supplier management skills and a good breadth of understanding across IT including (but not limited to) infrastructure, hardware, SaaS, Network and Telecoms. You should also have awareness of Cyber Security, budget management and business continuity planning.
