Software Delivery Manager

My client designs software to make processes easier, create apps to foster engagement, support companies to get better insights from their data and much more for over 1000 organisations across the UK and Ireland.

The Role

You will manage 20+ highly talented software developers, leads and testers internally and externally. Ensuring they can meet the business and customer needs, driving the products forward to be the best that they can be. Working alongside Product experts, Architects and UX Designers, you are responsible for the output of your team.

• Facilitate agile delivery of complex projects

• Help teams break down goals and tasks to deliver incremental value to users

• Help set the strategy for projects and ensure they're properly resourced within budget, removing blockers to teams delivering

• Communicate the value of projects to bring stakeholders on board and help teams define measures of success

• Introduce new ways of working at multiple levels and lead the continuous improvement within the department
  Coach people through change by leading by example

Key Skills

• Proven ability to lead or manage a team of developers
• Developed or delivered large scale enterprise systems
• In depth knowledge of agile DSDM/ Scrum methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
