Location: Nottingham - hybrid working with majority remote roles, 1-2 days per month at HQ

A long term Investigo client and software house with offices in the East Midlands are investing significantly in their architecture function, this will act as a springboard over the coming 3 years with a whole host of exciting projects on the horizon. We're looking for a x3 Software/Solutions Architects with a hands-on development background and experience working with high quality software solutions. Over the next 3 years they have an exciting product and application tech roadmap with a whole host of projects from greenfield developments to reinvigorate their platforms, changes, and a number of feature enhancements, all utilising a modern, cloud-based SaaS technology stack; they utilise both Azure and AWS so no matter your preference there's a role to suit.

Depending on the team and product area you join you'll play a key technical role in the evolution and continuing modernisation of several platforms, applications, and business/customer critical systems, this will involve everything from minor enhancements to full-scale application rebuilds to better leverage the tech for customers and make what they do even more accessible to customers/users. This is a business who is passionate about high quality software solutions - you'll also have the opportunity to try new ways of working, tech and develop your own personal career through various professional training and development plans.

The technology is driven by both AWS and Azure (depending on the product) and built using the latest from both Microsoft and Open-source software. Their ways of working are Agile, utilising a Scrum delivery model, and with a quality first mindset they use a TDD approach.

So, what are we looking for?

• Experienced working with modern software solution architecture and building high quality applications;
• Previous hands-on development experience using either Microsoft or Open-source technologies;
• Experienced working with cloud hosted applications and product - ideally either Azure or AWS;
• Experience working in an Agile environment;
• A willingness to try something and make it work, along with someone who brings new ideas to the table.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £80,000 p/a plus a range of benefits inc. healthcare, holidays, pension, and a variety of bespoke benefits that you can tailor.
