SQL Developer - Insurance

My leading Insurance client are currently looking for a experienced SQL developer, ideally with Insurance experience, to join them on an initial 6 month contract. The role will be primarily remote with the occasional day working from my clients central London offices.

Key skills:

• Strong level of T-SQL & SSIS ETL development skills
• Good understanding of C# and IIS hosted applications
• Solid Database design and Data migration experience - ideally alongside some Python
• Strong Problem-solving skills
• Ideally someone who has some level of experience building applications/websites using configuration tools.
• An ability to diagnose issues with black box third party software applications.
• Be able to communicate effectively with business users. Particularly with Actuaries and Underwriters.
• Review and interpret ongoing business requirements

Business area/knowledge:

• My client are looking for someone with previous insurance experience, ideally within Sequel pricing or sequel rating
• Be able to communicate effectively with business users. Particularly with Actuaries and Underwriters.
• Review and interpret ongoing business requirements

This is an initial 6 month contract, Inside IR35 to interview and start asap.
