Job description

A London based University is seeking to recruit a Student System Lead on a permanent basis to manage and lead a small growing team of SITS Developers. This is an exciting role that offers you the opportunity to play a pivotal role in leading digital innovation at the University.

The main priority of your role is to provide support for, construct and incorporate modern technology-based solutions to ensure that the University's standard business operations operate efficiently. Additionally, the university is going through an exciting period of change internally with a new strategy and 2030 plan being rolled out. As the Student System Lead, your role entails contributing to a significant programme of digital transformation meaning you will gain exposure to new integrations and programmes of work.

The Student System Lead will oversee the SITS student record system at the University, managing its development, configuration, build, and maintenance for security and resilience. The position involves supporting and improving SITS and e-Vision, enhancing data integrity and administrative efficiency as well as coordinating with the external service provider Tribal, managing requirements gathering, planning, testing, documentation, release processes, and supporting the project team with impact analysis and testing for new SITS developments.

You will have at least five years of experience in a SITS-related role, looking to take on greater responsibilities and further your career. Your expertise includes a thorough understanding of the SITS architecture, eVision, and its integration with other systems.
