Our Publishing client has a requirement within the TEP (The Enabling Program) Wave 8 roll out, this is a global transformation occurring on both changes to the technology systems and business processes. Reporting into the Program Director of Technology.

For the Project Manager, this person will be required to project manage the Global TEP Wave 8 programme experience (working on a large ERP previously would be great to see), Smartsheet Control Centre, google docs and JIRA experience would be beneficial to this individual.

They'll be liaising with both the Tech teams and the business operations, so exposure dealing with both sides will be great.
Given the global coverage may have to adjust working hours depending on meetings and go-lives, we are looking for a hardworking individual who can commit to the initial 12 months and beyond (there's work to extend pending on the performance).

Primary Responsibilities:
The Technical Project Manager's responsibilities will include the following tasks:
Managing the key milestones of the Blueprint, As-Is Assessment and Target landscape
Managing the Fit/Gap template for each rollout ensuring that the Tech solution leads complete the assessments for the gaps
Ensuring all gaps and pre-identified Icebergs that are identified have the appropriate documentation completed for design authority sign off
Accountable for ensuring all scoping documentation is updated and signed off by local markets
Ensuring that once design is signed off, all remaining technology steps are completed and moved into build
Accountable for managing and updating the end to end technology plan
Reporting all risks/issues/blockers to the central PMO team
Supporting on the management of the business engagement and readiness plan

Additional Job Details:
Proficient in Smartsheet Control Centre is an advantage
Work supportively and collaboratively with other teams Build relationships and trust with key stakeholders to support program delivery
Communicate in line with program communications and plans with team and wider stakeholders. Support the relevant project technical teams to deliver effectively

Some out of hours working will be required to support the global organization

Essential Skills and Experience
Experience delivering global programs throughout the software development lifecycle
Proven experience managing dependencies, releases, risks and issues
Proven experience aligning and holding stakeholders to account
Strong skills in critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (e.g. partnering, conflict management, consulting, etc.).
Proven capability to understand and meet requirements from both internal and external customers
Must be able to identify and work with stakeholders to collect, aggregate, and evaluate requirements in light of current and future technology and resources
Must be able to understand the overall business strategy to ensure components of the Platform and technology capabilities vision align with those of management and other stakeholders
Must be able to weigh the value of delivery against the impact of the change to our application ecosystem, resources at hand, and future of the technology landscape
Strong skills in Google products especially Google sheets
