Job description
Tooling Analyst opportunity working for a market leader, this organisation is an international organisation and one of the world's best-known brands. Reporting into the Head of Infrastructure Transformation this is a newly created role in the business working within a revamped infrastructure and operations team who are now scaling to meet the needs of this ever-growing business. The job is a hybrid role working from Heathrow 2-3 days a week.
Purpose of the role
* Transform the current O&I toolset and configuration to support the drive towards fully optimised processes and continuously enhance the customer proposition.
* Understand and be the recognised knowledge authority for the O&I toolset and capability, developing and maintaining a heatmap that identifies capability risks and opportunities.
* Understand the tooling strategy and how this translates to O&I's current tooling position and opportunities for enhancing future capability.
Accountabilities
Working in partnership with the business to:
* Ensure that O&I's current toolset is configured to maximise investments made, leveraging full capability and maintaining a strong relationship with and being single point of contact for 3rd party providers of the capability.
* Make recommendations on future tooling investments that would further develop and enhance the customer proposition in line with functional objectives.
* Work closely with the Configuration Management function within O&I on projects that evolve the current tooling capability to ensure that they cater as fully as possible to current business requirements.
* Work with Process Assurance and the Continuous Service Improvement Team to identify where tooling could bring increased efficiency into O&I processes; and lead the case for change/business case work where required for future investment recommendations.
* Work with Process Assurance and Continuous Service Improvement Team, Delivery & OCIO to fully deploy, communicate and embed capability of current tooling.
* Maintain a keen view on external market tooling capability in the O&I space in order to be able to identify opportunities for enhancing our service proposition and quality.
* Deliver multiple projects, the breadth and complexity of which will vary depending on experience.
This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations. Willing and able to travel to participate in meetings, workshops, and other related activities.

* Experience of delivering change and supporting a robust and accurate service.
