Trade Finance Advisory

A large global bank is looking for a true trade finance specialist to bolster their strong financial crime function. You will report directly into the head of function.

In this role you will:

• Managing Trade Finance customers escalations, ensuring cases are accurately prioritised
• Building relationships within the UK and globally to effectively investigate cases and identify improvements
• Engaging with Line 1 and Line 2 Financial Crime Compliance and Front Office stakeholders to ensure an integrated service
• Providing ongoing support to the global FC Ops teams in their provision of advice, document collation, policy and procedures and regulatory requests
• Providing MI on the status of the escalation activities and identified risks and trends

What the ideal candidate will be doing:

• Good understanding of both product and the end to end Trade Finance process
• Strong working knowledge of global and local legislative and regulatory framework for financial crime (AML, Sanctions and AB&C)
• Excellent analytical and interpretation skills to convert complex data into simple messages
